Our Rolling Stones No Filter Tour Model is currently on display at the Het Nieuwe Instituut museum in Rotterdam for their exhibition Set Stage Screen: Realities of Post production.
The exhibition explores the technologies, spatial design and forms of representation in video clips and live events and is activated by public programs and live video productions.

The STUFISH model is at a scale of 1:100 and reflects all the energy and functions of the real stage that went on tour from September 2017 till June 2019 in Europe and North America. It features the cantilevered roof, long catwalk and the clean design forming the perfect backdrop for the band’s bold and vibrant music.
We created the model using a combination of hand-built elements, custom inhouse 3D printing and purchased items. The stage was CNC cut and sprayed black. For the lighting rig we hand soldered over 150 LED’s in warm and cool white with a combination of 3mm and 5mm LED’s. The four monolithic screen towers feature LED screens with video using a mixture of different software.
The Band and The Audience
This brought the stage to life and gave it the eye-popping effect of being at a live performance. The amps, wedges, PA, roof, and trussing were all 3D printed in house. The band were hand crafted from card and the labels were hand drawn with the iconic The Rolling Stones tongue logo. Of course, a stage is nothing without an audience and therefore we glued 1000 architectural model people to the model!
The exhibition is open till 3 January 2021. If you are unable to go and see the exhibition in person, here are some photos of the model
