Following the epic and lavish setting of the Million Dollar Piano in 2011, this show wanted to capture a cleaner and more contemporary feel whilst keeping a sense of scale and grandeur.
Beginning in 2013, the tour ran across Europe, North, South, and Central America, performing 39 shows, in celebration of Elton’s 29th studio album: The Diving Board.
A 40ft diameter chandelier, created with custom made LED crystals, changing colour and texture throughout the show, hung above the stage.
The chandelier had a kinetic centre feature that allowed the shape to expand and contract or become inverted during the show creating different sculptural looks.
