Adele’s 10-night residency shows through August 2024 in Munich were conceived as an intimate embrace of the 80,000-strong audience, crafting a personal experience on a grandiose scale.

Set within a bespoke outdoor arena, the stage elegantly curved and wrapped around the crowd. Featuring a sweeping circular passerelle, that was adorned with pyrotechnic special effects, enveloped the audience and brought Adele closer to her fans.
At the confluence between the passerelle and the catwalk was an illuminated b-stage, that elevated her into the heart of the arena. Concealed within the passerelle was an ensemble of string players, that rise up at pivotal moments to unleash the drama of a 42-piece string orchestra.
The stage background was created as a Guinness World record-breaking twisting video canvas, designed to morph into various artistic concepts through a series of content guises.
From an unfurling scroll manuscript to the negatives of a film roll, Adele’s story and artistry vividly narrated through the striking imagery that radiated from the digital, panoramic backdrop.
The screen’s edges curled up like a paper scroll, bookending the stage’s perimeter. In one poignant moment, these scrolls transformed into towering lighthouses, casting beams of light across the arena and beyond, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that transcended the confines of the venue.
The internal layout of the venue, coupled with the stage architecture, immersive lighting and sound design all work together to create a holistic experience for the audience.
