STUFISH returns to the O2 for the 26th National Television Awards. This year’s NTA show is the first since the COVID-19 pandemic and celebrates the role television has played throughout this time.

The concept behind this year’s design is of the ‘New Dawn’.
1500 colorful and mirrored linear strips, a theme of the NTA’s design, work as the clouds, parting to reveal the sun, a circular video screen providing the backdrop for the night’s entertainment.
The design celebrates the important role that TV has played in the lives of so many through the eighteen months of COVID-19 lockdown. The colours chosen for the strips emulate the sunrise, and shift throughout the show.
Each strip is developed through parametric scripting, allowing each strip to be uniquely positioned and maneuvered throughout the show. Throughout the physical sculpture LED strips and lighting fixtures are incorporated to create one large holistic design that combines scenery light and video.
All materials used for the creation of this year’s design were recycled with The Children’s S.C.R.A.P. Projects.
