Celebrating Forty years of Rock n Roll.
The design took inspiration from iconic AC/DC imagery; taking the bands bold colours, industrial materials and hard rock themes to create a classic AC/DC backdrop.
The first performance area was the main stage, featuring corrugated panels mounted on red trusses embedded with moving lights, an inflatable Rosie, twelve cannons that pop out of the stage and topped off with Angus’ trademark 8M tall horns, culminating in a distinctly AC/DC look.
The second performance area was the catwalk, stretching out into the audience, ready for Angus to do his classic “duck walk” down towards the B-stage. The catwalk and B-stage were set on hydraulic lifts that could be raised or lowered depending on a seated or standing audience. A revolve in the B-stage ensured that Angus could be seen doing his famous guitar solo 360 degrees.
