Following the success of Farbenspiel Live, Spürst Du Das was our third collaboration with Helene Fischer’s creative team. Beginning in Germany in September 2017, the show toured all over Europe until late 2018. The set design is a bold statement of clean lines and crisp geometries that puts Helene firmly in the centre of this stadium show experience.
A giant ‘H’ dominated the center of the stage, creating a powerful focal point within the symmetry of the design. It provided the show with strong entrances and an idiosyncratic backdrop to a performance that was un-mistakenly Helene’s.
This was then accentuated by the lighting design, which was not only beautifully lighting her and her performance but was used very architecturally. By delineating the iconic shape of the H, the lighting design gave the stage set a scale that could compete with the stadium architecture surrounding it.
The video screens flanking the ‘H’ are used as 3D volumes to give this show the distinctive look of a Helen Fischer performance. A triangular forestage then connects to an arrow shaped B-Stage via a long water filled catwalk, thrusting her deeper into the stadium and gives Helene and her dancers the room to engage and entice their audience with her unique style.
