For ARASHI’s farewell We Are ARASHI stadium tour, the stage was conceived as a living structure, transforming over the course of the show from an open skeletal frame into a fully charged performance environment of video, light, water, mist, fire and special effects.

At its centre, the LED-clad ARASHI stage box rises from below the deck, revealing the band either standing on top of it or framed within it. Concealed video screens emerge alongside it, shifting into dynamic formations before locking into place with the fixed screen above to create two monumental surfaces flanking the performance space.

Suspended upstage, a series of square lighting and video pods form a fragmented checkerboard across the full width of the stage. These elements continually change character, alternating between light and image in sync with the music to create a backdrop that feels constantly in motion.

A grand open-framed staircase connects the elevated stage box to the main stage, embedding lighting, LED and special effects directly into the architecture. This gives the band space to perform close to their audience while maintaining a powerful visual connection to the ever-evolving set.

The design extends deep into the stadium to reflect ARASHI’s connection with their fans. A circular B-stage rises to nine metres before travelling over the audience, while moving platforms carry the band around the stadium floor. Crown-shaped helium balloons lift each member high above the crowd, creating a finale of scale, spectacle and intimacy for one last shared celebration.
