STUFISH’s Stage design for Lana Del Rey’s stadium tour transforms the Stadium into a living Southern-Gothic tableau. A full-scale, weather-worn Louisiana “shotgun” house anchors the scene, framed by cascading willow canopies, a luminous moon backdrop and a reflective pond on stage with a splash pool at the end of a pathway that extends into the audience. A sort of Tennessee Williams play inspired atmosphere.
The stage is more than background—it’s a character: an emotional, Southern–Gothic home that is a landscape for performance with multiple levels, rooms, apertures and spaces for Lana, the musicians, singers and dancers to use to tell the story of the show.
Throughout the performance the architecture performs: porch lights flicker, windows unveil spectral holograms, flowers grow, and the façade opens like a dolls house to reveal a kitchen scene which later erupts in projected flames before resetting to tranquil beauty.
