A sustainable stage design celebrating the Amazon and global unity

Global Citizen Amazonia is a movement dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for social and environmental issues affecting the Amazon region. The event brought together global artists, local communities, and activists to promote sustainable development and cultural preservation.
For this one-off show in Belém, Brazil (2025), STUFISH designed a stage that embodied sustainability and local culture. The centerpiece was the iconic Global Citizen logo crafted as a ring from bamboo poles and organic cotton fabric, suspended above the stage to create a halo-like effect.
Stage wings extended this energy outward, covered in bamboo and fabric, with integrated LED strips illuminating the set after sunset. Behind the bamboo walls, large LED screens enhanced the visual experience.
All bamboo was locally sourced from São Paulo and later donated to the University of Pará. Tropical plants native to the region added depth and were returned to the vendor post-show. The design emphasized modularity, allowing prefabrication in São Paulo and assembly in Belém within strict transport size parameters.
