STUFISH were pleased to be invited to design the National Television Awards for the sixth consecutive year. Returning to London’s O2 Arena, and broadcast live on ITV, the awards celebrated the best of UK television as voted for by the public.
The multiple layers of set combined to immerse the stage in a cloud of shimmering circular forms. The main scenic elements were a range of circular frames covered in translucent gold, silver and copper fabric. These were complemented by content on a large central LED screen which increased the sense of depth and movement. LED spheres and rings interspersed throughout the set added to the dynamism created by the metallic fabric sparkling.
As with previous NTA sets a large effort has been made to create a lightweight set to give the maximum visual effect with a minimum of material.
