The “PWR UP” stadium tour lives up to the power of AC/DC’s iconic status as this legendary band goes back on the road to perform live across 17 cities and 10 countries in Europe.
This is AC/DC’s 15th tour and the fourth time STUFISH have worked with band. We are proud to have been asked back to create another iconic and dynamic stage architecture that gives the band a strong backdrop to their legendary performances. Teaming up with WBD and Treatment Studio, the “PWR UP” concept blends lights, video and architecture into a formidable singularity that allows the band to take control over their environment and transform the stadium setting into the experience their audiences have come to expect from this celebrated rock band.
Architectural simplicity mixed with theatrical lighting and video cues sees the set slowly transform and fragment as the screens slide apart to reveal additional lighting behind. Distinct lighting pods above and to the sides of the band are framed with LED video tiles to further blend content and context into a simple but powerful geometry, framing the iconic bell and cannons in a way that gives the band a freshly modern yet familiar look to go with their distinct sound and style.
