The Blue Electric Light arena tour has put Lenny Kravitz back into the centre of an electrifying performance. Drawn heavily from brutalist architecture, the modular stage design celebrates the cuboid volumes that define that genre and gives the flexibility to perform across a wide range of venues and festival sites.
Clad in blow through screens, the towers come alive and provide the digital 3D content for the evolving show narrative, enveloping Lenny within a highly volatile and dynamic video landscape.
Woven into the fabric of the translucent video screen, lights further augment the performance, blurring the boundaries between architecture, video and lighting. A multilevel terrain of steps and platforms allows the band to occupy different areas of the stage and gives Lenny the opportunity to get close to his audiences.
