Chappell Roan’s festival shows transport the audience to a fantastical fairytale with a stage design that feels like stepping into a life-sized pop-up book.

The centrepiece is a fantastical castle, unfolding across the stage like a storybook caught mid-turn. Its construction mimics the intricacy of folded paper art, creating a sense of wonder and dimensionality.
Handcrafted and painted in soft pastel hues, the set is adorned with oversized sculptural elements that blend nostalgic charm with a surreal edge. It’s a medieval pageant reimagined through a glam-rock lens.
At centre stage, the castle rises with shimmering battlements, turret spires that curve like organic forms, animated gargoyles, layered hell mouths, and ornate fretwork. An elaborate central gate and a moving drawbridge complete the enchanted structure.
The stage itself is bordered with the edge of a giant book, framing the entire spectacle. Mythical creatures and dragons, inspired by vintage illustrated cartoons, add a touch of animated fantasy to the video backdrops, bringing the fairytale fully to life.
